Harry Potter Gift Ideas for Planner Friends!

We are nearing the holiday season which means it's time to look for gifts! So we've decided to compile a list of items our fellow Potterhead planner friends might enjoy. These are things I have personally been gifted or given to someone else and this is a blog geared toward our love for stationery which means the list wouldn't be complete without a whole bunch of stationery goodies! Great as a family gift and/or movie night! The movies are the best when you miss Harry Potter but don't quite have the time commitment to re-read the books.

This is a no-brainer! But you would be surprised how many people over the age of 16 haven't read the actual books. Now there are even collectible limited edition covers! I can understand why one would own two copies of the same book with different covers. There is also a great selection of books going in-depth into the franchise such as "A Journey Through a History of Magic" and "The Wand Collection." There is some cool information about the fascinating designs of each of the character's wands.  My favorite book other the Harry Potter series itself would definitely be "The Tales of Beetle the Bard"!

Stationery

Cute, geeky accessories to really bring magic into your stationery life! The wax really makes it feel like a special moment in the magical world. I decided to stamp the seal on my traveler's notebook to make a little homage to the letter from Hogwarts. Feltie clips are so well made and durable and riding that bow train. The Marauder's Map bow is actually hand-dyed, handpainted, and finally handmade. There are some really talented people out there!

This DIY desktop organizer honestly took me 40 minutes max to put together, after that, it was just waiting for the paint to dry. The templates from Lauren Fairweather were super easy to follow and the end result is so satisfying. I actually made this for Amy and painted it blue because she is a Ravenclaw!
